The redesign of Gillian Flynn’s murder mystery book series focuses on using typography only. This series needs to be recognizable as a set on the book shelf.

The look and feel of this book is dark, minimalist and sharp with a striking color on the front that lays softly behind the title. Each book uses a cool color palette that offsets the heavy black background. This juxtaposition reflects the characters and the darkness that remains inside the books.
